Roots was founded on a simple but urgent belief: the path to a more resilient future begins with nature. As carbon emissions rise and ecosystems vanish, we saw an opportunity to do something different—build climate solutions that work as nature intended.

Our work began with reforesting flood-prone farmland in Louisiana. Today, we partner with scientists, landowners, communities, and conservationists to restore degraded land—always with a focus on biodiversity, long-term impact, and local benefit.
