As our founding partner, The Loren helped us go beyond low-impact operations and into high-impact reforestation, supporting the planting of over 300,000 trees and the restoration of 1,000+ acres of degraded land.

2% for the Planet

Roots is proud to partner with The Loren Hotels through the 2% < 2° Initiative. This public-private partnership allows hotel guests the opportunity to donate 2% of their bill to fund bold climate action. Donations support global carbon sequestration and local climate projects near participating hotels and will directly fund activities like tree planting, biodiversity restoration and land conservation. This partnership is a powerful example of how businesses and non-profits can collaborate to turn everyday actions into meaningful climate solutions. Together, we can help prevent global warming beyond 2°.

Bermuda Community Climate Program (BCCP) Launches

Roots, in partnership with The Loren, is proud to announce that the application period for the BCCP has closed. We are currently reviewing an incredible range of community-led climate projects.
