Roots was launched in partnership with The Loren Hotels, a hospitality brand committed to climate leadership. As our founding partner, The Loren helped us go beyond low-impact operations and into high-impact reforestation, supporting the planting of over 300,000 trees and the restoration of 1,000+ acres of degraded land.
2% for the Planet
Roots is proud to partner with The Loren Hotels through the 2% < 2° Initiative. This public-private partnership allows hotel guests the opportunity to donate 2% of their bill to fund bold climate action. Donations support global carbon sequestration and local climate projects near participating hotels and will directly fund activities like tree planting, biodiversity restoration and land conservation. This partnership is a powerful example of how businesses and non-profits can collaborate to turn everyday actions into meaningful climate solutions. Together, we can help prevent global warming beyond 2°.

Bermuda Community Climate Program (BCCP) Launches
Roots, in partnership with The Loren, has launched the Bermuda Community Climate Program (BCCP) — a new initiative supporting community-led climate action across Bermuda.
Through this program, local organizations can apply for funding to develop projects that protect biodiversity, promote sustainability, and strengthen climate resilience.
